The Stiga Estate 2398 HW is available from Masseys in Swadlincote. It has a powerful twin cylinder Stiga ST550 engine which is a 586cc four-stroke unit with a full anti-vibration system. The lawn tractor has a 98 cm / 38 inch width of cut and the hydrostatic transmission, similar to an automoatic car, provides infinite increment ground-speed control, which in turn optimises manoeuvrability and enhances driving-pleasure
There are 7x heights of cut ranging between 25 – 80 mm on the Stiga 2398 HW and one of the big plus points of this machine is that it has a tight 140cm turning-circle and light-touch steering. This helps to enable the effortless negotiation of borders and awkwardly positioned obstacles and the grass bag is a large 240 litres that can be emptied from the seat.
The twin-headlights ensure you’ll be able to mow on into the dusk if you started a bit late in the day, while its audible ‘collector full’ warning works to prevent overfilling and the inevitable blocking of the discharge-chute that follows.
